. Somehow cooler heads prevailed and my Dad didn't get locked up that night but us kids never forgot the scene the Wassons caused. Fast forward 30 years..I'm so proud of him, elated in fact! Right now, the entire family is snuggled in the next box, all feathers and feet overlapping one another. I read that budgies rally together when one needs help, which is really rather endearing.Once of the things I fondly remember from my childhood was visiting Lilliput, a miniature railway in Napier. And now, somehow, Lucy and I got to decorating this play board. The roads have just been sealed (real gravel!), and the little houses were recently acquired from a model shop.We scoot all over the place.The dress rehearsal is the only time parents are allowed to videotape and take pictures of their tiny dancers up on stage, so I took advantage. ..About a year ago, Olivia started getting really upset about Aubrey going to work in the morning. He leaves before she gets up and I think she started to notice and realize something was amiss at the breakfast table. So we sat down and had a long conversation about what it meant to work. I explained that everyone in the family has a jobOmega Seamaster to do and Olivia's job is to play, play, play and help and love her family.I'd like to share some of the tidbits that I learned on this trip. Just some memories. I even left Price with a friend so I could concentrate on taping.Next year will be even better!  After a good question and answer period, she was satisfied and comforted.  Sometimes I get excited about a cookbook, buy it, and then shelve it barely cooking a thing from it. Also, Mother Nature forced me to grill indoors and still I had no problem serving up a great meal. I served my pork chops with rice and glazed mixed vegetables.
